Big believers in making the audience part of the performance, the Blue60 Band has been rocking the iconic hits of the 50s and 60s to eager audiences around Eastern Iowa for years. The band loves to engage with the crowd and delivers songs that keep the dance floor hopping. Don’t be surprised if some of the band members are right there on the dance floor with you!

Blue60 will keep you entertained with hits from The Beatles, CCR, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis, and many others. Whether you are 18 or 80, you will find something to sing with, dance to, and enjoy when Blue60 is in the house!

ABOUT BLUE60

The Blue60 Band took shape over 10 years ago, and is based out of Anamosa, Iowa. It's focus is mainly 50s / 60s cover songs which, when combined with the band's unique ability to involve the crowd, has proven to be a winning formula, and the band is in high demand all over Eastern Iowa.

Membership is currently seven:

Dakota McWhortor - lead guitar

Kim Beardsley - lead guitar

Dennie Hinrichs - rhythm guitar

Jan Beardsley - keyboard and vocals

Tim Canfield - bass guitar

Jade Beardsley - drums

Steve Wendl - lead vocals

The band's ages range from 30 to 74, bringing a wide range of musical experience and know-how to the group. Our bass player is a member of the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the band is a provisional member of the MAMA Hall of Fame (Midwest All Music Association).

Blue60 plays regularly at area casinos, special events, and a variety of establishments, and has a loyal following. The band has found that it's musical genre, and how it's presented, has a wide appeal across many age groups. Young people seems very responsive to our music, which we find pretty darn cool!
